Fourteen miles west of the property is the quaint little fishing village of Bandon. It's cool, windy, and gray, but the locals are friendly, as you can see in this picture. Many nice restaurants and shops. The property itself is just far enough inland that the fog burns off sooner, the sun shines more, the wind is filtered by a few miles of trees and all the people are pure of heart. If you're physically fit, you could ride your bike into town to watch the fisherman come home with these locals.
